Does Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Take Steroids?

Every time we see "The Rock" in a movie he looks bigger and everyone asks themselves how he does it. Nobody really thinks hard about this though. Any professional bodybuilder knows it is nearly impossible to look like Dwayne Johnson without steroids. Look at the picture above... Does it look like Dwayne Johnson does steroids? Who looks like that just by lifting weights and eating right? KEEP READING.... I will explain what The Rock does to look so hardcore.

Lets do some quick thinking. How busy do you think Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is? In case you don't know yet, he is working on doing a few movies: Arabian Nights, Empire State, The Fast and the Furious 6, Ciudad, Snitch, and G.I. Joe Retaliation. Not only that but he comes out in a few TV Shows like Clash Time and WWF Raw. How much time does he really have to work out at the gym?

If you are a bodybuilder you should know that in order to have a good looking body you need to go to the gym 5 times a week. Not only that, but your sessions should lasts at least an hour and a half. Aside from that you need to be eating at least 8 times a day to look like him.

So, if you haven't figured it out yet... I am speculate that Dwayne "The Rock" definitely does steroids. Most steroid users that actually look good know what they are doing. In the case of Dwayne Johnson, I'm sure he has a very smart doctor, trainers, and a large entourage working by his side.

    1. The Rock was nowhere near 220 when he was 25. He was a big defensive lineman in college and was kind of fat when he came into the WWF.

    2. You guys need to see his documentary. Interesting stuff.

  2. You also have to bear in mind that this man has had implants to make himself look bigger. I believe he does work hard to keep himself in shape and he is only 40 years old. People believe he is much older. It is possible to be in great shape at 40 years old. As for steroids, I think he's clean. The WWE now have strict rules against steroids for a number of reasons and they would not have let him compete at wrestlemania in april if he was not clean. The heat that WWE would get if one of their 'entertainers' would be allowed to compete on juice would be too much too handle.

    2. lol retard, it only takes 6 weeks to get clean taking a legal steroid or prohormone. sometimes even less. it's like mary jay. detection time is temporary. they even make special pills to reduce detection time. so yes, he's on riods.. and what do u mean heat?? over half of their wrestler's took juice at some point in their lives to get as big as they need to be. ur no WWE official. stop acting like u know what ur talking about.

    7. Strict rules? you must be kidding, where did you get that statement...they don't do any kind of testing for steroids.

  3. Come on... does that other poster really think the WWE has strict rules against steroids. You cant be serious!

  4. I am serious. The WWE recently suspended one of their top stars Randy Orton for 60 days for taking steroids. As I said before the WWE would never let one of their performers compete with steroids after the trouble they got from the deaths of Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero RIP

    1. Don't even blame steroids on what happen with the Benoit tragedy. How about the many persons in the past that have done pretty much the same thing and aren't even into fitness whatsoever...they just lost it for whatever reason.

    2. dude vince mcmahon takes roids. and santa clause isnt real either fyi.

  5. WWE does not really test the big names, sure Randy Orton was suspended, but he is an obvious bad juicer because you see his huge weight lose after 8-12 weeks. But I seriously doubt they test The Rock since he's not on the roster, just some shows, and it could be during his cycle breaks, though Decca would stay in his system if tested. To think The Rock doesn't juice us insane, or you just don't know what to look for, which is fine. Like the writer, I have done cycles and been around steroids all my life, I know the physical signs. Sure The Rock works out hard, eats great, etc, but with his background he would most likely be really big and heavy, not ripped. I'm not saying steroids are bad, its a personal choice, if done correctly they can be great. If your a kid or do not know what you are doing you should not touch the stuff. If your a kid wait till at least 18-20, I'm glad I never tried till later since I grew till 25, not much but a tiny bit. Besides physical you have mental issues, not like Bennoit. I will never believe steroids played a role in the terriabe Bennoit story, IMO, it was concussions. Sure some test or "halo" may have hurt him a bit, but I don't see him using "halo" nor do I think it was found. HGh should be perfectly legally, assuming you know the side effects such as if you have cancer or diabetes. On alcohol it says you should not drink while pregent.

8 meals a day? are you in dat dere bath salts? you can eat whatever you want and whenever you want as long as it fits your macros...

  8. I disagree with the five days a wk & 90 mins statement. In fact the main theory behind heavy duty/high intensity (Dorian Yates/Mike Mentzer etc.) is lifting for intensity not duration & taking longer to recover then the bodybuilding theories at the time accepted.

  12. Why would the WWE, or any organization for that matter, 'BUST' one of its leading spokespersons for the brand? and make themselves look bad, and possible ruin or END the career of whoever is 'busted'. Dwayne Johnson is CLEARLY on gear from anyone that knows how it works.

Yeah he is a strong guy, had a solid athletic background as a young man - but anyone who knows anything about the way the human body works knows that at 40 you have as much as 40 percent less testosterone than at 18. So while it is perfectly natural to STAY in shape and even KEEP whatever gains you made in your 20's and 30's, the gains slow to a grinding holt.

It is not possible for a man to explode with muscle growth to such a degree anywhere past 25 - except in those who have never trained before, and even then you won't look like him. Its OBVIOUS!

    ReplyDelete
  13. You guys are over exagerationg the effects of steroids, steroids only help if you do the hard yards, they dont just make you big. It just means you can work out more often because you're muscles are growing faster, so basically someone on roids should be working out more, not less like this person implys, also if you're working out 5 days a week, you can hit everything hard and fast in about 30 minutes and get good growth (which happens outside of the gym, not inside)
The rock is pretty much genetically big, he's samoan/afro american, and if you've ever been to samoa, you'd know they grow'em big over there.
the rock was around 240 when he was wrestling and has been bulking ever since he got out and cutting his fat, there are natural bodybuilders and atheletes who are bigger and older than the rock believe it or not.
Testosterone does go down by about 40 percent for average people from 18-40 but thats not a solid figure, as it's variable to exercise diet and genetics and 40 percent of what a 18 year old is nore than enough to grow muscle which all he's done, where people on growth hormones actually grow all over (hands, feet, bone structure etc etc , what the hell do you know about the endocrine system anyway
So in conclusion to all the retards that don't know what they're talking about shut the fuck up and go do the hard yards like everyone else, start worrying about yourself instead of sitting on a computer arguing like little fat fuckers you are.
Im not trying to imply that i know the rock or that he doesn't but i wouldnt assume that he does based on what i've seen.

  14. and more on that.
Being big and heavy but not ripped? Being ripped is about not having a high fat content on your body... it's not about having more muscle.
And for the real retards eating 8 times a day is to keep your metabolism fired up (its for cutting fat, not for bulking up, people can bulk up eating 3 times a day if they wanted) and eating 8 times a day aint hard at all... you cook your meals in the morning bring them to work with you in a container and set your watch bingo!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Youre stupid as fuck. It does not 'fire up' your metabolism anymore than eating 3 times a day

      Delete
    2. actually eating often in smaller amounts makes ur metabolism work more ! .... suppose you could say it fires it up

      Delete
  15. are you aware that this guy is of both samoan and african heritage? Genetically people of african heritage naturally have a good ground base shape wise to start of with, and samoans are naturally big boned and huge.
AND he used to play football, combine that with a good diet and intense workout and his figure now is very achievable naturally. When you have the background of an ex football player, you pretty much know all the ropes to increase strength and size, so don't be so quick to jump to conclusions before stating something like that.

  16. Dumbest article I've ever seen. Whoever wrote this doesn't even lift.

  17. I'm going to go ahead and stoop to you retards' level. This was a forum discussion based on whether or not the participants believed this man takes steroids to achieve his current physical build. Nobody asked if WWE was real or not, you make yourself look like the most uneducated presumptuous prick by saying it is. As if we couldn't tell that organized sports don't actually allow athletes to hit each other with chairs and hammers. I would think we're all smart enough to get that. The topic is Dwayne Johnson, try to exercise some of that attention span. Yes, he's unrealistically busy with his acting career. Yes, he comes from an athletic bloodline as well. Its a difficult thing to decide, but I know that if I looked that way without steroids Id sure as hell be insulted by everyone assuming I was shooting up. At the end of the day its none of our business anyway. So please, either stick to the topic or get the hell off this page. Some of us don't need to trade fighting words and insults through an anonymous comment string all day.

You need high quality gear from good laboratories and believe me, that is where you get them. I'm sure he isn't getting his stuff from the street...

  20. You would be surprised at how fast you can grow muscle with alot of these very expensive but legal supplements that a non-bodybuilder/weightlifter would have never heard of. You have to keep in mind that The Rock and Mark Wahlberg are obviously VERY motivated people and they probably worked out several hours a day for months prior to this movie. Several actors have gone through rather radical body changes in a short period of time (Christian Bale started production on the first Batman movie after portraying an anorexic in The Machinist a few months earlier).

I’ve been a fairly regular weightlifter for years, but I only take protein. If you look in the muscle magazines there are all kinds of legal pseudo-steroids, supplements that puff your muscles out to look bigger, and even a “cutting” gel applied to the skin to burn away excess fat in that specific area (illegal in the US now).
